Host a Gluten-free Food Drive

Help fight gluten-free food insecurity today by hosting a “Food Drive in a Box”!

Food insecurity is a problem for many and it poses unique problems for those with celiac disease. Celiac disease is a common autoimmune disease that requires the life-long adherence to the gluten-free diet. That is a diet that is free from wheat, barley and rye.

The gluten-free diet is expensive and finding specialty gluten-free products at food pantries can be difficult. You can help by hosting a gluten-free food drive for a local food pantry. Celiac Kids Connection will provide an online “box” to guide you step by step through hosting a successful month long food drive. This project is an amazing opportunity  help food pantries in your  community, and to fight the larger problem of gluten-free food insecurity. You do not need to have Celiac disease or a gluten allergy in order to host!
