5/28/2026 – Celiac at School Information Session

Join your Boston Children’s Hospital Celiac Disease Program team to learn more about attending school safely with celiac disease. We will discuss federal laws and regulations that govern this autoimmune disease, the appropriate type of plan to set up, reasonable accommodations, and how to get individual support for your family. This meeting is appropriate for families with a child of any age including early childhood through college.

A session for families with a new Celiac Disease diagnosis. Join your Boston Children’s Hospital and Celiac Kids Connection teams to ask questions and learn about the resources available to your family. We’ll cover the questions families commonly ask, but this is an open conversation centered on answering your questions.
May 28th at 1:30 p.m. ET – Virtual
5/30/2026 – Small Group – North of Boston

Connect with other families living north of Boston.
Kids can play and explore on the playscape while parents relax and connect. There are walking trails in the park for older kids who may not be interested in the playscape. CKC will provide snacks and water. There is an ice cream truck that sometimes comes into the park. Please note that we have not verified whether any items on the truck are gluten-free.

6/7/2026 – Teen Event – Boda Borg

Connect with other teens living with celiac disease.
We will break up into groups of 3 to 5 and each group will complete a series of quests. Each quest challenges you and your team in new and unique ways. Food is available for purchase at Boda Borg. Some of the snacks, but not all, are gluten-free.
Tickets are $30 per person

6/13/2026 – Small Group – CD and Type 1

Connect with other families who also manage celiac disease and type 1.
For families with a child living with CD, type 1, or both conditions. That is you have a child with both conditions or you are managing both conditions in your household. Kids can play and explore on the playscape while parents relax and connect. Older kids are welcome and can help with the younger kids. CKC will provide snacks and water.

This is a welcoming space for teens (ages 13 and older) with celiac disease to connect, share experiences, and find community with others who truly get it. Each monthly session will be unique. We’ll have games, conversation, cooking demos, and more.

Join the Trustees for a GLUTEN-FREE week of their Famer, Forester, Chef! summer day camp at the beautiful Powisset Farm in Dover, MA. Kids will dig in — on the farm, in the forest, and in the kitchen. All the recipes for this week will be gluten-free.
